Bell SK5 Hovercraft
In between commercial projects we are building a Bell Sk5 Hovercraft in 1/6. This has been around 3 years in the making so far and we have no idea how many more it will take! The plan is eventually to have a fully RC working model and it already has a full sound system using a Benedini sound module for the Gas Turbine.
The lift fan is from one of the original Test tank models used in the development of the SRN Hovercraft. A deal was struck with the Hovercraft Museum at Lee on Solent to acquire one of the 3 lift fans they had. A little piece of history will form the lift for the model when we finally get it to fly.

Having finished the days orders etc its too late to do any major work on the SK5 so decided to get the ACV crew to go through the stuff we have been collecting for it. Its amazing what you find hidden away in all those small boxes :-)
